About the Event
Ages 14 and up.
Join us for a hands-on workshop on making electronic music with hardware synthesizers. We will introduce the basic concepts of synthesis and survey the myriad of hardware options available today: classic analog monosynths, modern digital or hybrid desktop synths, and Eurorack modular synths. We will also get hands-on with these devices, where you can explore and make your own sounds and musical sequences!
Presented by MODULAR SEATTLE, who are devoted to electronic music, art, and community in the Puget Sound area, focused mainly on modular and hardware-based synthesizers and the people who create with them. We provide monthly performance events, educational lessons and workshops, and access to music-making technology.
Limited to 20 participants. First come, first seated.
